you have nothing to do today so you wake up late and gasping for air. it's exam season but you've been spending all of your time looking at the ceiling trying to figure out who you are or how to breathe properly.  on some days, you try to think of a future when you've got everything figured out, when you inhale and exhale and eat and read and keep all of your plants alive and look at the mirror and see yourself. on most days, you take a look at the world and only know how to feel anger, numbness and despair. today is neither of those days. today you cry at the simplest kindness, and stop breathing when you are anxious and upset and make determined plans for everything you can do to help and when you're alone you let yourself hold this hope close to your heart the way someone else would a prayer;
what if we were all okay
what if we were all okay
