The Fall

And it was
That very moment
The bird's chirping would go mute,
The sky would go grey,
The stifling heat would give way
To cold breeze,
The grizzling rain would flow like stream,
The shiny glistening sun
Plunged in the endless blue
Would hide from the scary clouds.
And yet,
There was an uncanny feeling created
In that pure magical time of the year
With its vivid maple shades
Its fragrant scents
Its crispy atmosphere
That made her think of it as flawless.
